Letters...

2005 has been such a year. We had to go through our first major exam, our PSLE. A lot of hard work was put in, and some of us got really frustrated and stressed out. But we managed to perservere and go on, and we did it in the end. We got good results and almost everyone went home happy and got into their dream school. The days went by so quickly, and I must say, we have spent many happy memories together as a class. Each and every one of you make up a part of 6A, and without 1 of you, our class would be broken, and everything would change. We went through many tough times, especially one day in March, when one of us left us-not returning forever. We've also had our fair share of happy days, especially the days after PSLE and the days at the SparkC camp. I am really glad for 6A. I'm glad for the times we went through together. If I didn't have 6A, I'd probably not be able to do it. Therefore, I would like to thank each and every one of you 6A people, by writing a short message...

To Alan-You've been a real great sport, especially during the SparkC camp. You have a rather shrill voice for someone so thin....hehe..hope you'll be slightly more beefy the next time I see you. =p thanks for all the encouragement you gave me during camp and the solutions to problems and ideas that you came out with in camp (I think you were the one who came out with the turtle idea right? well, it was great :D). You're a really nice guy on the whole, only I get annoyed when you call me Dinosaur..well, whatever, all the best!!

To Jamie-I think we've become quite good friends this year. I can talk to you about lots of things, and you give me a chance to go crazy too. :D. We went to Japan together, and it was a good time we had there, wasn't it? Thanks for all the happy times spent together. I'll never forget the bus trips back home together. :P Do keep in touch always and best wishes! love ya lots girl!!! ^^

To Jevis (Hao Kai)- We've been in the same class for 5 years already, and I daresay it has been a great 5 years. You're rather a joker, and I often laugh when I'm with you. You like to challenge me as well, especially in marks and in sports..haha =p. Going to Japan with you was fun too :D. Thanks for all the encouragement and concern and solutions that you gave me. :p. You're a really good friend. Hope you'll do well in Secondary school!!

Christmas Day!!! (wheee....~!)

Hey!! Merry merry Christmas!!! :D:D Christmas is finally here, but now that it's here, I wish I could turn back the time and make it come slowly. Haha..but i know i can never do that..so stop wishing la..=P. Well, spent the morning in the hotel room, doing nothing much, just flipping round the TV channels, reading magazines and playing GameBoy. The book I had brought didn't look very interesting, so I didn't read it. In the afternoon, we checked out of the room and went down to Tua Ee's house for Christmas lunch. When we got there, nobody was there!! I was very upset...what if they had all left?! What if we were late!? But luckily, we were not. Ah Chye gu gu (and family) came about 15 mins after us, then Uncle Fabian, (and family), then Uncle Johnny (and family, but not Amanda, she was coming later cos of church...or something like that la hehe). I played with Natasha and her horses (soft toy horse) while waiting for Amanda. We also watched a video of a wedding which Melanie, Emma and Natasha went to. Actually, the main point of us watching the video was to see Christian holding the ring and Natasha as the flower girl. Christian was SO cute!! He walked very quickly and looked quite nervous..must be afraid of dropping the ring. Whenever he came on screen, all the aunts would cheer (-.^") and Christian would become very shy and press against his mother. haha. Soon after, Amanda came and Natasha left. After Natasha left, Melanie came. We all went out to play ice and water. At first I was the ice, then Amanda wanted to be the ice, so I let her and she ran after us in her Ah-ma way..hehe =P. When Amanda was about to go home, Ah Sin Ee (her mum), asked my mum whether my brother and I could stay at their house..and my mum said "Yes". YAY!! so happy, first time I've stayed over at Amanda's house. I've only stayed at Mel's house for about 3 times?! So, when we got back to Amanda's house, we started playing around and all that. The boys (Joshua, Kor kor John and my brother) were going to play "Code Veronica-Resident Evil." That's a game you play on Dreamcast. It's a game where you have to kill all those dead zombie like stuff and at the same time, solve puzzles to do with unlocking doors, finding information and so on. I didn't play it, my bro did. Amanda and I and Kor kor John just sat there watching-it's really nice to watch. The 3 siblings kept on instructing and telling my brother where to go and so on...and I just watched :P. After some time, Amanda and i went back to her room and she painted her nails. I loafed around her desk and came across the CD Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!!!! YES!!! can watch that show again le!! so happy..i absolutely LOVE that show...and I don't care about what you say about it Amanda!!! it RAWKS to the core..and i love Freddie Highmore!!! so cute..hehhehheh..but we went out for dinner that night, so couldn't watch it. I slept at around 12 am ++ that night leh!!

Christmas Eve..

Hey!! Merry Christmas Eve! :D I went down to RiverView Hotel in the afternoon today. My dad had booked a room in the hotel for us to stay in on Christmas Eve. We (mum, bro and i) took a cab down to the hotel. The room was rather small, but it was nice. :D. We spent some time in the room watching TV and playing, then mum and dad fetched us down to Tua Ee's house for the Christmas Eve dinner party. however, Dad and mum didn't stay as they had a dinner to go to. Most of the cousins had already reached, and I had to eat dinner myself as Mel, Tash and Em wanted to practice their dance for the performance that night. They kept hurrying me through my dinner, and when I was finally done with all the turkey, ham, lobster bisque, fried rice and orange juice, they were like "FINALLY AND PLEASE HURRY UP", cos the aunts and uncles had only given us about 30 more mins to practice as they had to rush to midnight mass. So they were really fretty , and Em was like making me learn her dance at the last minute. i wasn't sure of Em's dance but it didn't really bother me, cos I could copy her anyway :P. Soon, the time came for us to go down and do the dance, and all of us were pretty nervous. But the aunts ad uncles proved to be a great sport. They sang to the song (Jingle Bell Rock), and even tried to dance with us!! :D Christian and Dylan also danced, but they danced really crazily, and their mums and dads pulled them away. :D:D After al the dancing, Mel and Tash sang their Hilary Duff song. i wasn't included cos I didn't know it. Didn't want to do that anyway. It was a really great performance, and we had to do it a second time cos Ah San gu gu wanted to see it-he wasn't in time for the first one. All too soon, we had to go home, and Ah Peng Ee fetched my brother and I back to the hotel. On the way there, Emma and I listened to her walkman, and sang together. We sang to the Westlife songs. :D. She told me she wanted to sing with me during Chinese New Year or sometime :P. haha..let's see how Em!! When we reached RiverView, i said all my goodbyes and all that and went up. I washed up, then sat down on the bed to watch Harry Potter and the socerer's stone. Some channel was screening it. Soon, 12 am came, and merry christmas smses started rolling in. well, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you out there!! GOD BLESS! :D

Sec one orientation and helping Tua Ee with the xmas tree (part 2)

Went to SCGS for orientation today. There was a lot of the affiliated girls and also many newcomers (me..). When we came into the school, I was given a pink file, containing all the neccesary documents. Then, my mum and I proceeded to the auditorium, where we were given a welcome talk all about SCGS and all that. I saw Pei Wen again. Oh, she's someone i met on my Korea tour, she's also going to SCGS. She doesn't talk much though. After all the talks and all, we went to buy my books. The queue for the uniform was too long, so I decided to come back o another day to buy my uniform. i just tried out some sizes and remembered all my sizes..lol. Then, my mum dropped me off at Newton MRT station, and I tried making my way back myself. My mum had an appointment anyway. The journey was quite long..about 1 hr 25 mins. But I reached home safe and sound. :P
***
After lunch, I went back down to Tua Ee's house to help out with the Christmas tree. She had already hung up some of the decorations..and the lights were really splendid!! she had bought new lights, and they were really nice and bright. We finished hanging up the decorations in quite a short time. Then Tua Ee had to rush off to somewhere, and my mum and I went down to town to buy christmas presents for the cousins. We walked round Takashimaya, John Littles and some other shops. We managed to find presents, but whether you guys will like it a not...it's a different story! Reached home rather late today...

Posting & helping Tua Ee with the x'mas tree

went back to school today to get posting result..actually I already knew I got into SCGS (through DSA), but I still had to go to school to get my certificate. Nothing much in school today..just collect certificate, chatted with friends, asking them which school they had gotten into and then going home..
*~*
Went home and had lunch. After lunch, I went down to Tua Ee's house to help her out with the Christmas tree. But the Christmas lights weren't working, so I had to come down tomorrow again instead. Not that i mind :D. I always like putting up the Christmas tree :P. Well, tomorrow is sec 1 orientation..going to SCGS, well, best of luck to all u people!! hope to see you sometime!

Mrs Lim's party

Wakey!! Today was a BIG day for all the 6A people, cos we were going to Mrs Lim's house!! YEAH!! Each of us had to contribute some food and bring it to Mrs Lim's house, so I went to Mei Ying's house at around 8.45 and did sandwiches with she and Michelle Cheong. When I reached her house, Mich was playing with Mei's gameboy and Mei was just hanging around. We waited for sometime, and during that period of time, Mei gave me a christmas present...hehheh..an Incredibles biscuit thingy and a handphone keychain..(very on time hor mei? when i just got hp then u give me...haha) But it was a nice keychain (at least to me..) and thanks so much Mei!! After a while, we went and started making sandwiches. We made the egg, cut the bread, and so on...Michelle Cheong kept playing with the cheese. She even played Tic Tac Toe with it!!! Hai, ever the playful girl ain't she? We took almost an hour to make those sandwiches(better eat them u people..hehe). After which, we waited for Mei Ying to finish combing her hair..and that took like..15 mins?! Haha..but we were still on time. When we reached the meeting area, only Jia Hui and Shih Han were there. But soon, the others started coming and the boys arrived too..Jianghan brought his brother along..so..HA! attention..ok la, whatever. We waited for Joan's father to come, cos he was gonna fetch us in his truck to Mrs Lim's house. The journey was quite short, but most of us standing were quite wobbly. We finally reached Mrs Lim's house, and after Mei Ying and Mich went to collect the cake, we went in. Of course we were questioned by the guard, but I think the boys went to handle or something-(Charmiane said she was the one answering..haha). We went in and up to Mrs Lim's house, where she greeted us in a very surprised and happy tone, she had her daughter, Ashley with her. We put all the food on the table and sat around the living room. Mrs Lim's house was really nice, and it was decorated with all kinds of weird but interesting stuff. Stuff like hamster foetus, fossils, a shark's jaw..and lots more. She took out some of them for us to see and I was really amazed. Then she asked Ashley to pick out some of the famous musicians. Oh, ya, Ashley is just 2 years old, and REALLY CUTE!! :D:D. But the boys kept playing with the pictures of the musicians, and Ashley ended up crying. Oh well, she didn't cry for too long a time, and we all started eating. We sang a birthday song for mrs Lim (although it was belated), and the boys "popped their poppers". Haha..the floor was decorated with all those party streamers and gliterry stuff..Some landed on Mrs Lim herself too! There was really a lot of food. When everyone had finished eating, there was still more than half left!! Then, all of us went to the CC to play. Mrs Lim brought Ashley along, and Val and I accompanied Ashley at the playground, with Mich joining us at times. Ashley was really active, Val and I had to run after her. Hehe..but it was a really great time...lol. Ashley treated us to 2 songs-ABC and Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars. After that, Mrs Lim brought Ashley home, and Val and I went to play with the others. They were playing Captain's ball. had a really fun time. We had some drinks after playing, then went back to Mrs Lim's house. We rested for a while, and Mrs Lim let us watch Mr and Mrs Smith. I've watched that show before, and it's a nice show, but it failed to hold most of the others attention. Soon, they were getting ready to go back to the CC and play. So we went, and soon I had to go home. It was a really great time I had today, and i really hope Mrs lim had a good time too!!

BBQ Party!!!!!!!

Today Jie Jie Sarah(my cousin) celebrated her 21st birthday. Although her real birthday is on the 21 of December, she decided to celebrate it today instead. The BBQ party was held at Aloha Changi, Chalet I. It started about 7, but I reached there about 2 and a half hours later cos of....(what else) BALLET!! Haiz, sorry folks, but I really wish I could turn back the time and miss my ballet. Miss Lee didn't even do our class at all!! It's at these kind of times that I really really detest ballet. Well, at least I still managed to go to the party. So after my ballet, I went along to the chalet, stomach rumbling (a bit only la) and heart jumping happily cos I was going to see my beloved cousins(hehhehheh). When I reached there, Mel showed me who was Benjamin. And i was like "Huh? So?".I just dismissed that and Mel didn't really seem to care also anyway, so I took my food and sat down to eat. Amanda accompanied me, and we talked as I ate. Christian and Dylan were playing balloons as we were eating and talking, and of course they disturbed us. They are really cute 5 year olds, and they kept hitting their balloons at us.Christian was screaming and dancing-acting really crazy, but keeping that happy grin on his face all the time. After I finished eating, I played Ice and Water with Emma, Marcus, Darren, Evan, Joshua and Amanda. At first the ice was Marcus and Josh. They won in the end, and the ice became Josh (again) and Evan. This was when the "jinx" started. Man, Marc and I were running, one in front of the other. Man behind me, Marc in front. When josh suddenly popped out, we all dashed together and formed 1 straight line. Then Man's foot came into my way and I tripped and smashed against the wall...that hurt ok Man!!! -.- But I continued playing. Not very serious la. :P So we continued, and when Evan and Joshua became the ice, I ran and fell into the longkang...the LONGKANG, the DRAIN ok.!!! Tell me how "jinxed" i was. Haiz, but it wasn't such a big drain. i got a horrible scab at the front and lotsa scratches. Sheeeesh. Then I didn't feel like playing much more, so we went up to the bedrooms and sat there for a while before someone called us down as they were starting to cut the cake. We cousins went to the back and sang the happy birthday song there while everyone else was at the front. Then Jie Jie Sarah took some photos with us and her friends and her family and her aunts and uncles...then we served the people their cake. Mel was going to serve Benjamin!!! Haha...:D When everyone had gotten their cake, we settled down to eat and play (again). I was still able to run, but I knew i was going to have a hard time showering..lol. My cuts were going to be soooo extremely painful. So we played and played, luckily i managed to avoid anymore accidents. I went home at 1 am that day...but I wished I could have stayed longer..so I could see someone longer...hehehe kidding la

Last day of school....

18 november...the last day of school for all primary school pupils. Usually I'll be sooo extremely happy that school is over, but this time, I wish that we had a month (or more) of school waiting for us. I didn't even want the holidays to come...cos it would mean that soon, all of us will be scattered, and I'll probably never, ever be able to see my whole class together ever again. I felt so sad..i wanted to cry..but the tears wouldn't come, and I didn't want to cry anyway. When 9.30 came and it was time to go home, everyone was so frantic. Autograph books and cameras were taken out for last minute autographs and photos. I didn't bring my camera!! Boo-hoo...but the scene was very funny..everyone was like just so anxious to get their friend's autograph. And, I hadn't forgotten the letter that I had given to **, so I when I saw him (or her, i'll just write "he" cos he is more general), I had to run after him. Apparently, he had a reply, and he was just leaving like that without giving it to me!! How could he forget!? So i had to wait down there, with his little brother staring at me with these big, innocent eyes..very cute leh..lol. After that, I rushed back, and wrote some autograph books, and then I went home...so that was how the last day of school ended..although the last time I would really see the whole of 6A together will be on the 24 of November, tomorrow..wish you all good luck and do keep in touch!! Tell you all about prize giving next time..I got to go le!! going out...:P.

SparkC camp (part 2)

Hey!! Here's the rest of the SparkC camp days...

Day 2...
Woke up rather early..cos the girls in my tent (Valerie, Michelle (cheong) and Debbie) are rather kiasu..wanted to make sure they had places to shower and all that...They had a bit of trouble waking me up, but that was because I didn't want to wake up at first. Hehheh :D. Michelle Cheong woke up herself, and she told me that she could hear Debs and Val's discussion about waking she and I up. Well...to tell you the truth people..I was already up..and I could also hear your discussion CLEARLY. Hahaha..sorry for making you go through the trouble of waking me up. :P We went to brush our teeth and all, but we didn't shower. The water was too cold. We arrived at the "Galaxy" right on the dot. THen we had to proceed to the "Milky Way" for a flag raising...and their flag raising is literally flag raising. Alan and Shenghao and Jordy did the flag raising..and the one who was raising the Singapore flag actually dropped
the flag by a bit!! An OFFENCE!! HAH boys..shows how GOOOOD you are. But whatever..it was still OK...MUCH better than the exercises we did next. I was so hungry and just wanted to eat my breakfast, but they made us go through sooo many exercises first!! But to be fair, we weren't really that co-operative. So after some time, we had our breakfast. Then we were supposed to go for the CRC (challenge ropes course). From the bottom, it didn't really look very high, but Wilfred told us it was about 7 metres off the ground. And when I got up there, I knew it was going to be a completely different story. I was sooooo extremely absolutely scared!! I am afraid of heights anyway. I managed to complete the first part without much fuss, but when I got to the walking on the boulder that part, I faltered. I didn't dare to even step onto the boulder. There wasn't even a support to cling onto leh!! (although some others did find a support..they clung onto the ladders, the ropes that were behind them..hmph!) But in the end, those idiotic boys kept on whining at me to hurry up, so I took a DEEP breath in and started walking. My legs were really trembling, and I was afraid to fall (although I knew if I fell I would still be safe). But I still managed. The tarzan swing was fun, but I was quite afraid to step onto the rope at first..cos what if I did fall? I would just be dangling in the air at a height...!!! But I managed to overcome my fear of heights and arrived safe and sound on the ground (at last). After everyone had completed the CRC, we went to practice our campfire item. Nobody could come up with a good idea, so we went for lunch- where Wilfred showed us this dance, which we all agreed to do for the campfire. But we still had to come up with a cheer. After some discussion...our cheer ended up like...
Ryan- gimme a C!
Rest- C!
Ryan- gimme a R!
Rest- R!
Ryan- gimme a U!
Rest- U!
Ryan- gimme an X!
Rest- X!
All-C,R,U,X! CRUX!
Then, after our cheer came a song- which we sang to the tune of the chorus of our school song
We are Crux, We are Crux, We are Crux, We are Crux, We are Creative, Responsible, United and Extreme!
after all this would be our dance...
And so, after lunch, we went tunnelling. Miss Hayati and Mr Yeo also went, but they were the last 2 to go in. The tunnel was pitch black, and the only light was from the light sticks that the front and back person held. I was the front person, and behind me was Michelle, followed by Melissa, then Valerie, and lastly, Debbie. I had to crawl in through a hole to get in to the tunnel. I wasn't sure how to climb in, and i ended up going inside with an awkward position. We had to crawl along the tunnel. It was really hot, dark and stuffy. After much crawling and yelps and mutters of "hot!", we came out to a more open place which was full of balls. We got through that and came to poles. We got lost in all the poles, and that's where we took the msot time. We had found our clues, but we didn't know how to get out. Finally, we came out of those dreaded poles, and I was like a fountain, sweating from head to toe. We crawled up and down and into and out of some kind of net stuff and finally, after we picked up all the clues, we came to the exit. But, bad news, the other group behind us had caught up, we could hear their voices! We frantically punched the code into the door and we were greeted by the boys, who had parked themselves by the door, waiting for us to come out. They scared us, and I knew I screamed the loudest. So? After my group came out, they slammed the door into the other group's face, and let them punch the code in. The other group knew the code, so they came out, closely followed by Miss Hayati and Mr Yeo. The 2 of them had tried to come out with the other group, but the boys were too fast. BAM! they slammed the door in their faces again. But Miss Hayati and Mr Yeo managed to come out. How sad...:P. After the tunelling, we went rafting. My group (Crux) was to compete against Cygnus. Cygnus also consisted of a lot of 6A people, including that shameless fish, Jianghan. Our group went away to discuss who was to row the first part, the second and the third part. We took quite a while, and Cygnus kept on asking us to hurry up. But in the end, we won, and my throat was sore because of the cheering. hehhehheh. Cygnus was still in the sea when we had reached the shore the third time..and u noe something? Jianghan fell into the water!! Hehe..maybe he misses his home too much. But..congrats to Crux..real happy and cheers to Cygnus as well. I think we all did our best. We had fun in the sea for a while, then went to shower. All of us had to get ready for the campfire. We practiced our item one last time..it wasn't so successful, cos we kept on adding more things to make it "fancy" but it ended up making everyone confused, and when we did the real thing, our dance was really messy. But it was great fun watching the others. We saw Mrs Lim's daughter as well, she was really cute. After the campfire, we went for our supper, which was milo and biscuits again. We slept in the tree hut that night. I was in PLuto..so sad..I was really FAR AWAY from all the rest..sobx..there wasn't a person whom I knew in Pluto..i mean..I know their names, but I'm not close to them. Luckily Val saved my life. She was in the same hut as me..we went through the tough time together..hehheh.:D It was real cold that night..I was shivering when Val woke me up to go to the toilet....brrrrrrr..!
Day 3...
Woke up shivering. It was just so cold!! Man, one day so hot and then one day so cold. Val and I went to wash-up and brush our teeth once we had woken up. We met up with Mich, Debs and Melissa and also saw some of the other 6A girls from Cygnus. Around 7.30, we went for flag raising and did more exercises before having breakfast. Today, the last activity that we had to do was to build a sandcastle. The group which built the nicest sandcastle would win. They provided materials for us...and away we went! My group took a real long time to think about what we wanted to build. We thought we had already taken a lot of time discussing, and we were going to waste our 1 hour and 10 mins away, so we all started heaving and piling sand into one big pile. Never would we guess that that huge pile of sand would give us an inspiration. While other groups were just building sandcastles from all the materials provided, my group decided on something so different I wondered where ideas came from. We decided to build turtles and on the biggest turtle, We put our sandcastle on its shell. We engraved the word CRUX and TURTLE KINGDOM in the sand and decorated it with stones and other colourful stuff. In the end, CRUX won the sandcastle building competition. We also won the campfire performance competition. :D:D Boy were we happy. Soon, it was time for us to leave, and we all walked out with fond memories of the time we spent at OBS SparkC.

Camp days

7 November
The first day of our SparkC camp. There was a lot of talk and murmuring in the hall..about bags and what-did-you-bring-and-what-did-you-miss-out that kind of thing. When we got on the bus, my bag couldn't fit onto the floor..it was too big and bulgy (hehheh) so I had to put it onto my lap..I daresay Meiying was uite uncomfortable, cos part of the bag also landed onto her lap. :P:P...anyway, we got to SparkC without much fuss and had that kind of briefing stuff. I was sorted out into the group CRUX, and my trainer was WILFRED. He looked like those kind of nice jock, and he had a rather "long" tooth. Most of my group consisted of 6A people. There were Michelle.c, Debbie, Valerie,Si Qing,Tian Hoe, Sheng Hao, Ren Hao, Ryan, Jordy and Alan from 6Aand 2 other boys and 4 other girls form other classes. Wilfred talked some stuff to us, demanded (not really demanded la) our wallets from us, then sent us changing into shorts. Then we had a tour round the camp. Pretty nice and clean. Then, we went to the "storage room" (??) to get our harness and helmet and blankets and the tent bags. Wilfred showed us how to pitch the tents and we had to pitch the tents before going to eat lunch. Pitching the tent was so much easier compared to the time at the p5 camp. Just click the hook here and click the hook there and you're done!! Hehheh..we could have our lunch now...
After lunch, we were supposed to do rock climcing, but we had to go through "belaying school" first. We had about almost and hour of practice, then we came to the real thing. I was the IC for the day, so I kena the first person to go up the rock wall. But before that, we had to set our goals first-how high we wanted to climb the rock wall..well, I set foot with only 3 blocks, but after much sweat and toil (??), I managed to climb the whole wall. :D:D I guess I could not have done it without the help of Miss Hayati shouting down there, cheering and telling me where to step on..and the encouragement from my friends below. Thanks so much people!! When I came down, my arms felt sooo extremely tired and I could hardly lift them to write down what i had achieved. I then sat down and watched others going up the rock wall. Everyone was trying their best, and quite a number went up to the top!! Congrats~!! hehheh...after everyone finished climcing the wall, we were sent to shower. Mich, Debs, Val, a girl called Melissa and I went to the farmost toilet. There, each of them booked the cleanest cubicle for themself, and I had to make do with a not-as-clean one. But it ended okay. We showered and had our dinner. Then our whole group played ice and water. The boys kept on cheating and the game ended up as a never-ending game. Haiz, BOYS!! I was really sweating after the game, and I was so glad Wilfred had chosen to sit at a place with wind ot play some games with us. The games were quite fun and when it was around 9, we all went to have our supper, which was biscuits and milo.Dippping the biscuits into the milo...the supper turned out nice!! Well, with that done, we brushed our teeth and prepared for a night in the tent. It was REALLY warm and stuffy in the tent, and I tried closing my eyes and sleeping, but inside, I was really wondering how on earth was I going to sleep. But in the end, I DID sleep, thank GOD. BUt I was woken up at around 1 plus by the others as they wanted to go toilet..so I dragged and lugged to the toilet with them. When we got back, I struggled to sleep again. Soon, it was time to wake up....(to be continued, now i got to go le..stay tuned hor~~! and i promise it won't be such a long time before i update my blog again..BYE!!

My Chalet Days...part 2

Helloooo!!! Sorry..I know it's like been almost a month since i have last posted...but ah well...here we go!(ps..sorry i noe the dates r a bit lopsided)
20 October
Woke up by my "instinct"...had a good breakfast at the Boardwalk Cafe at the first floor of the club. That cafe didn't open til 10 o'clock, so Emma, my grandma and I just went strolling around until 10 o'clock...lame huh? But as I said, we had a good breakfast..I had nasi lemak and hot chocolate. After breakfast, my grandma went back to the jackpot room and Em and I went for a morning swim. The water was SO EXTREMELY COLD!! I was like shivering and my teeth was like chattering as I swam. I did a couple of laps before I started giving Em some swimming lessns. Well, she DOES know how to swim, but we just did it for the fun of it. And the problem with one part of the pool was that the air surrounding tht part was really stinky and smelt "poisonous". I guess it must have been because of all the constructions that was going on near the pool. YUCK. Around 12 something, we got up from the pool and had a shower and took our lunch at White Sands. I had the japanese foood from the food court. Next we went to fetch Amanda. When we came back to the club, it was already around 4 something, close to 5. We decided to go for the billiard. Em's mum played with us too. At first, I didn't think much of billiard as I couldn't shoot the ball in very well. But as I improved, I started thinking that this was fun. So now...don't look down on me at billiard, people!! We finished around 7 and then went bowling. There, Em and Manda both downed 2 cans of Nescafe each while I had 1 can of nescafe and another can of minute maid. Ahhh...the nescafe was really goooood. We played 3 games, then went back to the room, where we waited for dinner. Dinner was char siew noodles and a chicken wing. After our dinner,we still wanted to bowl, so we went over to the bowling alley. However, it was closed..so, so sad, we had to go back. Amanda went home soon after that, and I plaited Em's hair (again) before we went to bed at around 12 again. Hehheh..sweet dreams...tomorrow last day at the chalet..sobx
19 October
Woke up rather late.... We had a simple breakfast in the chalet, then Em and I went to the computer room. Em played the computer, but I just flipped through the magazines. After all, $1 for 20 minutes, isn't that expensive? When Em got bored after about 40 minutes, she also went through the magazines and she recorded some stuff that she wanted to buy. Then we had lunch and waited for Melanie, Marcus and Darren to come up. This time we just played around in the nursery room. Then Em and Mel quarrelled as usual. THey ALWAYS quarrell at least once when they are together, so this wasn't a surprise. But this one was one of the bad ones. Em cried angry, frustrated tears and Mel purposely ignored her with her head held high. Everyone wasn't in the mood for their quarrells and when Darren pointed that out, Mel got too irritated and walked out. That's the way with Melanie-she justs walks out on everything. So when it was time to get back to the room, I felt like I was stepping into this frosty cave u noe? The tension between Mel and Em was so great. Each made the best effort not to talk to each other. Well...so dinner came and went..and my cousins came and went too. But Em and Mel did make up to each other--through SMSes..they always do that, but I know they each still harbour a disliking for each other. Then, we went to sleep.
21 October
Haix...last day at the chalet...we had another simple breakfast, and yet again, Em and I went to the computer room (while my grandma went to play jackpot) , glad that we had a comfortable, air-conditioned place to be in. But...the air-con had BROKEN DOWN!! Em and I were sooo angry..but what could we do? So we stayed in the room, flipping through magazines yet again..then Em wantec to play the computer. I hesitated, thinking of the cost, then relented, and slot in some coins for myself so that I could play. By that time, we had already checked out, and we were playing when my mum came in. Her marking had ended early. So we prepared to go for lunch at a place called Hong Kong Street 21. The food was real nice. Then I went over to Mel's house for a while (with Em). So unfortunate, Mel was having tuition, and that Marcus was playing (what else?) Maple story, so Em and I had a hard time trying to entertain ourselves. Then, it was time to go home as i had British Council. What a way to end such a happy week!!

Graduation Day

Today was Graduation day. We didn't have to go to school in the morning. We reported at 2 o'clock. Yep, our graduation party was in the afternoon...hai..I dun wanna criticise, but why must it be in the afternoon? And why must it be only 2 and a half hours? Can't it be at night, like from 5.30-9.30? That would be sooo much better. And could more activities be planned? Next time I in alumni, I'll make sure the party is like that...harhharhharh..but really la, I prefer it to be this way. Well, anyway, I went at around 2, and the first thing we did was take a class photo. Before we took the photo, I looked around. The boys were wearing simple clothes, the girls mostly wore skirts. I wore a skirt too :D. Luqman rushed into the photo just in time. He hadn't been in school for some days already. After all the classes had taken their class photograph, we played a game. Each person had to tie a balloon around their leg with a rubber band. Then, when the signal is given, everybody is supposed to go around and try to stamp on other people's balloons, without getting their own balloons burst. This was the same game as me and my ballet friends played when we went to SparkC. So we went around stepping. I hadn't even stepped on anything yet when my balloon flew away. I ran after it, but that stupid Desmond had got it and of course he stepped on it. Idiot boy. So I was eliminated from the game LIKE THAT. how irritating. So I had to sit down and watch other people playing, and soon it got quite boring. The 6A boys kept huddled together in one group, trying to protect themselves..haha, but in the end, most of them still got eliminated. After some time, the game ended and everyone settled down for the class performance. My class (6A), put up a "wushu" performance, which only involved jianghan showing off some wushu skills. Can't say it was much of a class performance. Most of the other performances were just hip hop dances..not much interesting. 6B's fashion show was really nice, I like the cheery "models" as well. hehheh :D. And the drama put up by 6C was great too. After the class performances were over, all the primary sixes held hands and sang "Auld Lang Syne". Then the teachers played some music, and gave us time to dance. Others could take the refreshments if they wanted. I ate some of the snacks, and after staying around and talking with my friends, I went home. It wasn't exactly the ideal graduation party, but I did go through it with my class and my friends - so it was worth it. (sorry if I have offended any of the alumni or the school about my comments on the graduation party)

My Chalet Days...(17 October----21 October)

Hello people!!! I decided to come and post about my chalet days...I decided to post the font size as "Large" but I dunnoe whether it will really come out as large a not..I thot that the normal size was just too small...Ok...here we go :P

17 October...
Today is the "eve of the PSLE marking days". I am sooo extremely happy!!! This is the first time that we don not yhave to study during these days...furthermore, I am even going to stay at a chalet in my mother's club until Thursday!! I went to the chalet around 4 something..and I met my cousins and aunts there. Even some of my cousins were staying with me..this was surely going to be a BLAST!!
The room was quite nice, with a queen/king sized bed and two other beds only large for one person to sleep on. There were also some coupons for us to use...the couponjs consisted of these discounts "2 free welcome drinks, 2 hours free use of the badminton courts, 4 free bowling games, 2 hours free use of the billiards table, and 2 hours free use of the mahjong room." Of course my cousins and I did not use the mahjong room, my aunts, my mum and my grandmum who was staying with us went to use it while my cousins and I went to swim. We got out of the pool around 6.35 as they wanted to watch "Potrait of Home." SO after we bathed, we sat down on the bed and watched the show. We had cup noodles as a bit of snack, then the aunts came back with chicken rice for us. It was almost 9.30 after we finished eating and my cousins were still watching the 9 o'clock show. After the show finished, they watched America's next top model...even though they already knew who was the winner. The aunts went back as they had to go to work the next day and only Amanda (13 yrs old), Emma (12 yrs old) , my grandma (60+ yrs old i think) and I were left in the room. We were staying there for the night. After the show, which ended at 11, we went to wash-up and change into our PJs. Then we spent another 45 mins braiding each others hair, my cousins wanted to sleep with the plaits as they wanted their hair to be "permed" when they wake up. SO I went along with it lor, and I ended up sleeping at 12 something in the morning with my hair done up in plaits...

18 October...
Woke up aorund 7 something. I know to some of you it may be very early, but I have this sort of , urm, like instinct? I wake up around 7 something almost everymorning without the service of the alarm clock. But of course I wake up much earlier on school days. When i woke up, I think I might have disturbed my cousins as I soon found them sitting around me. my grandma still hadn't woken up yet, so we replaited our hair (ok, I know, my cousins like fashion and make-up and dressing up, actually, I do a bit too.One of them is even a make-up artist!!) Soon, my grandma woke up and we proceeded to wash up and change and have breakfast. Breakfast was ham sandwiches and milo. It WAS nice. After breakfast, my grandma went to play jackpot (she loves playing jackpot) and the 3 of us went to play badminton for 2 hours...we used the voucher la. We were tired after playing badminton after some time, so we took a break and went to buy some drinks. We continued playing until 12.30. After that, we went back to the room and waited for Em's mum to come with our lunch, pizza. My grandma was still playing jackpot, so we waited in the room by ourselves. While waiting, my cousins took a potato chip each and put it on their forehead, and tried to use their face to get the potato chip on their mouth. They got this crazy idea from a chinese show, dunno wat "Star RUn" or something. So they tried, and they actually suceeded after some time!!! I tried too, and I got it as well...well, wanna try it too? It was alamost 3 something when the pizza finally came. My aunt was late as she went to fetch some other cousins, Marcus (13 yrs old) and his sister, Melanie (11 yrs old). Darren (1o yrs old), would be coming later. So we had our lunch, then the 5 of us went to play bowling. I play bowling with my cousins quite often, so I didn't always kena the "longkang". It was around 5 when we stopped playing. By then, I already had to go home for ballet and piano. STINK right? But I couldn't pong anymore, so I had to go reluctantly.
FINALLY my ballet and my piano finished, and I could go back to the chalet. Only Emma and my grandma were there waiting for me. Amanda had gone home as she had schoool the next day. Emma and I slept at 12 something again that night. :D...gotta go now...anyway, look for my next post..:P
